Equanine reports on the business of horses and dogs for the people who run racing, breeding, equestrian sport and the canine world, and for the companies that supply them, with a focus on the United Kingdom, India and the Gulf. About eight in ten stories are written for professional readers; Culture is the smaller part of the title for owners and enthusiasts.

What we cover

Five desks follow the decisions that move money and rules in the sector. Equine covers breeding, bloodstock, horse health and performance, and transport. Canine covers kennel clubs, breeding rules, dog law, working dogs and canine services. Makers follows the companies that make, feed, equip, insure and sell to the horse and dog trades. Clubs & Sport covers racecourses, turf clubs, racing authorities, federations, polo and riding centres. Culture covers style, country life and the pleasure of a life with animals.

The Directory profiles the organisations behind those stories, the IFHA’s Top 100 Group 1 races, new venues and investments, and the suppliers that serve yards, studs, kennels and vets.

How we report

Every story is built from primary sources: the organisation’s own announcement, official results, a regulator’s notice or a filing. The sources are listed at the end of each article, and where a fact comes from another publication we say so. Equanine is a business title. It does not give veterinary, training, feeding or care advice. Our editorial policy sets out the rules in full.

Our publishing family

Equanine is published by The Webezine Co. Ltd. Coverage of people, hiring and workplace culture is led by our sister title Wincwire. Livestock and farm animal health are covered by our sister title AgroTech Daily.
