What it supplies

Indian Immunologicals Limited (IIL) was established in 1982 by the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) as its unit, according to the company, and was corporatised as Indian Immunologicals Limited in 1999. It is based in Hyderabad, where its contact page lists offices at Jubilee Hills and Gachibowli, with a further facility at Karakpatla in Telangana, a Human Biologicals Institute at Ooty and a New Zealand company, Pristine Biologicals (NZ) Ltd.

The company reports more than 150 registered products and exports of animal and human vaccines to more than 50 countries. Its Animal Health business lists vaccines, formulations and nutraceuticals for livestock and companion animals, with separate livestock and companion vaccine categories, and markets generics and over-the-counter products through veterinary retail stores in India. IIL states that it works with government agencies on mass vaccination programmes, and a company news item refers to a veterinary anti-rabies vaccine for free-roaming dogs.
