What it supplies

RaceTech, the trading name of Racecourse Technical Services Limited, describes itself as the dedicated technical facilities provider for British racing. It states that it was founded in 1946 as the Race Finish Recording Company and is based at Bushey Road, Raynes Park, London. Its listed services are photo finish, starting stalls, broadcast (outside broadcast, remote production and connectivity), media and archive, and audio-visual installations including public address.

RaceTech’s starting stalls page says it operates Steriline stalls modified for use in the UK: 10-bay units that travel between racecourses on purpose-built trailers, and larger 14 to 17-bay units dedicated to individual racecourses, with two maintenance and storage bases. It states that each Flat meeting needs at least 11 trained, BHA-accredited stalls handlers, with more for fields of over 20 runners. Its leadership page lists Bevan Gibson as Chair and John Bozza as Chief Executive Officer.
