What it supplies

Total Performance Data (TPD) provides live race tracking using GNSS and GPS positioning. Its site says speed, stride, distance, position and time data are transmitted in real time during a race, and that the tracking technology was designed and developed in Cambridge. TPD has an exclusive partnership with Gmax Technology Ltd, which supplies the Gmax race tracking system.

The company says its data serves racecourses, owners, trainers, bookmakers and punters. Its products include live, post-race and historical data APIs for traders, syndicates and trading firms, in-play data for bookmakers, and race graphics for broadcast and big screens. Its About page says it has live data from over 150 tracks. Will Duff Gordon is listed as chief executive and Eamonn Wilmott, a co-founder, as chairman.
