About the race
The All Aged Stakes, sponsored by Schweppes, is a Group 1 race over 1400 metres on turf at Royal Randwick, Sydney, run by the Australian Turf Club in April on the Saturday after Day 2 of The Championships. The official results state no age restriction, the ATC classes it as a two-year-olds and upwards race at standard weight-for-age, and apprentices cannot claim. Prize money was A$1,500,000 in 2025 and 2026. The ATC’s race history lists winners from 1930.
Jimmysstar (NZ) won the 2025 running on 19 April by half a length from Joliestar, ridden by Ethan Brown for trainer Ciaron Maher. The IFHA rated it 117.75, joint 54th among the world’s top 100 Group 1 races of 2025. Beiwacht won on 18 April 2026 under Nash Rawiller for Chris Waller, and the next running is on 17 April 2027.
