What it supplies

Newmarket Equine Hospital (NEH) is the trading name of Newmarket Equine Clinic Limited, which describes itself as an independent practice since 1912. According to its history page, the practice spent 96 years on Newmarket High Street, latterly as Greenwood, Ellis and Partners, before moving to a purpose-built hospital on Cambridge Road that was officially opened in October 2008. The site states a team of over 40 veterinarians at the Newmarket site.

The hospital lists referral services in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, colic, wind surgery, lameness and poor performance, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, dentistry and farriery, with in-house clinical pathology. Practice teams work with racehorses, breeding and stud farms, sales, sport and leisure horses and endurance horses, and a dedicated shipping department handles pre-export examinations and testing. NEH also states that it has associations with a number of practices in Europe.
